One Link to Rule Them All

Instagram has become a major player within the world of social media with over 1 billion monthly users, a staggering figure that continues to grow. Businesses of all industries have joined users on Instagram in an attempt to increase revenue and build their brand. While Instagram continues to evolve its advertising options to aid the objective of driving sales, one key feature of the channel remains the same, the singular link available in the profile bio. This became quite cumbersome for businesses wanting to push multiple products or services at once as it required them to continually change the bio link in real time depending on what their current Instagram post was promoting.

Thankfully, developers have created third-party apps that allow you to redirect users to multiple destinations from just one bio link! Below are just a few of the frontrunner Instagram bio apps.

1. Linktree

Linktree is one of the OG Instagram bio apps. A free version is available with limited options, however you can get additional features (such as analytics) for just $6 a month. Linktree allows you to add unlimited links on a landing page to drive website traffic to multiple locations in a simple format. This allows users to highlight products they are currently promoting while also providing links to other important places you can find them online. Linktree’s layout doesn’t offer as many custom design options as other apps do, so keep this in mind when deciding how you want your landing page to look.

2. Linkin.bio by Later

Linkin.bio by Later may be Linktree’s biggest competitor. One of its most notable features is the ability to add links in the actual Instagram post. This solves the majorly frustrating issue of not having clickable links in your posts and the “all in one place” model encourages users to redirect to new landing pages more frequently. They also offer a Pinterest and Instagram scheduling program, “Later,” featuring advanced analytics and an emphasis on easily collecting user generated content. The one caveat, Linkin.bio by Later is on the pricier side, starting at $19.99 a month.

3. Campsite

Campsite is one of the newer Instagram bio apps to the scene, but that doesn’t mean it is any less amazing. The app is very affordable, offering a limited free version and a “pro” one at $7 a month for up to three different profiles. The highlight of Campsite seems to be the additional customizable options they offer with features such as access to stock images from unsplash.com, MailChimp integration, and Facebook Pixel retargeting options.

Whichever Instagram bio app you decide to use, you’ll be sure to give your followers a better, well-rounded brand experience.
