Waimea Plantation Cottages wanted to increase their fan base across Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.


Thin Pig Media created a Gleam promotion giving away a 5-night stay in a beach cottage along with complimentary airfare for two courtesy of a partnership between Waimea Plantation Cottages and Alaska Airlines. To create the promotion, Thin Pig Media and Waimea Plantation Cottages created posts for Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram detailing the contest and included the Gleam contest entry link. To get more entries and to gain more followers, Thin Pig Media boosted the posts for more reach and awareness.


The Gleam promotion received 7,612 actions made by 1,877 unique users during the 15 days of running. Waimea Plantation Cottages gained 915 Facebook followers, 411 Twitter followers, and 769 Instagram followers during this time period.
