Introducing The Bird to Berkeley with Facebook advertising.

 
 
 

Situation

The Bird (fried chicken sandwich restaurant) was so successful in San Francisco that the ownership group, Back of the House, opened a second location in Berkeley. Back of the House approached TPM to run a Facebook advertising campaign for both locations in order to promote awareness for new location.

Action

To promote the launch of the newest restaurant, we ran three Facebook ads beginning the week of the opening and extending three months after. TPM ran an ad to promote the new restaurant to a highly targeted audience. Two other ads included a contest element giving away restaurant gift cards and tickets to a popular music festival.

Result

The Facebook advertising campaigns reached nearly 200,000 highly targeted individuals. The lead generation ad for a chance to win a $50 gift card reached over 25,000 people and resulted in nearly a thousand completed forms with a budget of $400. The reach ad promoting the restaurant grand opening and the chance to win music festival tickets reached over 50,000 people with a $400 budget. The third reach ad was seen by over 100,000 people with a budget of $1200.
