Driving awareness and screening attendence.



After being officially selected by Tribeca Film Festival 2019, we were approached by the film's international distributor, Eroin Films. With the goal of making a big splash at Tribeca, the filmmakers wanted to maximize their publicity efforts and employ a more aggressive social media strategy.


Thin Pig wrote multiple press releases customized for mainstream film press as well as LGBTQ and Jewish media outlets in order to reach long tail leads in the NYC area. To drive ticket sales, we created social media content calendars, led training sessions, and promoted buzz-building posts with geo-targeted boosts.


The film's trailer was premiered by The Advocate (Pride Media), and its Tribeca screenings were featured in Forbes, Deadline, NYC Lens, Solzy At The Movies, and more. Attendance was strong in the film's Tribeca screenings, and the increased visibility from our efforts carried the film to success in their subsequent festival run.
